Privacy Policy

Mercure Melbourne St Kilda Road (“MercureSKR”) is serious about the privacy of its Guests. MercureSKR Privacy Policy is designed and implemented in accordance with the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles (APP) in Australia. MercureSKR does not share the information provided by its Guests and all personal records such as copies of ID are protected. Following Guest checkout, ID copies are systematically shredded and destroyed. 

On departure, Guests have the right to request the copy of the ID document photocopied upon check in. MercureSKR guaranties its Guests that no copies are kept within MercureSKR admin systems. However, in accordance with APP 11.2, copies of ID could be shared with Federal or Victoria Police in the case of unlawful activity or investigation. In this instance, MercureSKR will destroy copies of ID once the copies are no longer needed.
